AMHA AND SSA have entered final after winning their respective semi finals today, in the sub junior boy's category of the ongoing 1st Women's Open and 2nd U-14 Sub Junior Boy's 6-A Side Hockey Tournament 2008, organised by Imphal East District Hockey Association.
AMHA entered final after defeating COSMO (A) 4-3.Ph Amarjit of of AMHA scored two goals in the 15th and 20th minute.
Kalboy of COSMO (A) earned a hat trick by scoring three goals in the 29th, 43rd and 92nd minute of the match.
H Roshankumar and K Ibungo of AMHA scored one goal each in the 56th and 60th minute of the match.
The match was a heart throbbing match with AMHA and COSMO (A) clashing for the final.
Both team tried hard to dominate one another.
But in ddespite of its efforts, COSMO (A) had to tumble out of the tournament after losing by one goal to AMHA.
In the second semi final match, SSA entered final after defeating SEYO 14-3.The first goal of the match was scored by N Thoiba of SSA.
He earned a hat trick by scoring three goals.
He scored his two other goals in the 12th and 23rd minute.
S Manisana of SSA also earned hat trick.
He scored six goals in the 9th, 29th, 32nd, 35th, 55th and 61st minute of the match.
H Romi of SSA also earned a hat trick by scoring three goals in the 46th, 53rd and 59th minute of the match.
H Mani and S Uttam of SSA scored one goal each in the 17th and 24th minute respectively.
L Nillamani of SEYO scored two goals in the 21st and 22nd minute.
Kh Robert managed to score one goal in the 56th minute of the match.
It was the only goals of SEYO.
No other players could scored any other goals till the end of the match.
AMHA and SSA will fight for the final victory in the final match which will start at 1 pm tomorrow.
After the match, final match for women's category will be played.
Director, Health Services Dr.W Motilal, President MHA, L Ibopishak and Head of Department, Observation and Gynaecology RIMS Professor Dr.Ch Mangi will witnessed tomorrow's final matches as presidium members of the closing function.
