JNV, Kpi selection test to be held

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Kangpokpi district has informed children, especially girls, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and other minorities of the district regarding the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) .
Students of any Government/ Government recognised/ Government aided schools who are studying in class V and aged between 9-13 years residing in the district are eligible to apply for admission to Class VI .
The admission for the academic session 2018-19 will be conducted on All India Basis, entrance examination, which has been scheduled on February 10, April 8 and June 9, next year, for summer bound, winter bound and extreme bound JNVs respectively .
In order to ensure transparency, the process of admission has been simplified with the introduction of online application through Common Service Centres (CSC), Ministry of IT, which are set up at various areas and covering almost all the villages .
In the process of collecting the of application forms, CSCs will be assisting the candidates/parents to upload their details by charging a service charge of Rs 35 .
They will also assist in downloading and printing of the call letters for test with the service charge of Rs 10 .
The last date of submission of application forms has been set on November 25 .
