Speaking at the opening ceremony, former ANTA president TS Warngam said that Paraolon village was associated with many historical events though the present generation may not be aware of it.
At one time, Paraolon witnessed several cases of human rights violation but today peace has returned to the village and different communities have come together with a spirit of sportsmanship.
