AR conducts Medical Camp

Imphal, April 12 2021:
Keithelmanbi Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) conducted a Medical Camp and distributed water tank a DarulYatama Girls care centreLilong, Imphal West on yesterday.
Medical camps are organized regularly by Assam Rifles to cater for the Medical needs of the people.
As part of the camp a interactive session was conducted to educate villagers about importance of healthy lifestyle and various seasonal diseases.
The lecture was followed by health check up and distribution of medicines.
A total of 30 villages were benefitted from the medical camp.
The Battalion also distributed eleven 1000 liter water Tanks to the centre as part of Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme.
The tanks will be utilised to meet the water requirements of various educational institutions in the area.
Approx 35 individuals including MeiraPaibeis attended the program and expressed their gratitude on much needed aid to the villages.Such occassions provide an opportunity to interact with the villagers to ascertain their needs and create synergy between villagers and Assam Rifles.
