Moreh bandh affects normal life
Source: The Sangai Express
Moreh, March 12 2013:
Normal life was thrown out of gear in the border town of Moreh today as several tribal organisations imposed a bandh against the grenade attack at the residence of Chandel ADC Chairman Lhukhosei Zou yesterday which caused injury to an occupant of the house, reports our correspondent.
Markets, educational institutions and business establishments in the border town remained closed due to the bandh today.
However, students appearing for the ongoing HSLC and HSSLC examinations were given free passage.
The bandh had a spillover effect at neighbouring Namphalong market.
