Speaking at the occasion, Francis Ngajokpa cautioned all contractors to execute works assigned to them strictly in accordance to guidelines with due emphasis on quality.
He also appealed to the public to cooperate with contractors for proper and timely execution of all works/projects.
If there is better transport infrastructure and closer interaction one village and another in the hill districts, peace and bond of fraternity can be restored and consolidated, he asserted.
Ngamthang Haokip, while noting the pathetic situation of Tingkai Khullen and Loibol Kholen in terms of modern infrastructure like electricity and roads, stated that efforts were on to install solar power plants at these areas.
Plans are afoot to open a PHSC at Tingkai Khullen.
Highlighting the importance of peace for development to take place, Ngamthang Haokip appealed to all communities to promote communal harmony and peaceful co-existence.
He further proposed to start construction of a church building at Loibol Kholen this year with the help of local villagers.
He assured that houses of Loibol Kholen which have thatched roofs would be identified for replacement by GI sheets.
But no villagers should sell away GI sheets, he warned.
Stating that ADC's have been empowered to monitor development works in hill districts, Ngamthang Haokip called upon to all ADC Members to walk collectively on the path of development.
