Police team leaves for Tripura

Imphal, July 22 2009:
A team of the state Police has left Imphal to bring back the seven arrested PULF activists including its 'Army chief' who were arrested by the Tripura police at Bangladesh parking on July 18 last.
The police team is also said to bring back the two RPF activists arrested by the Karimganj Police on July 15 near Indo-Bangladesh border.
The police team comprised police officials of the Imphal Police station and Wangoi police station.
The team had left Imphal yesterday.
Several IRB personnel are said to have escorted the police team.
