Imphal, March 06:
Two truck loads of timber being transported without necessary documents were seized by a police team led by the OC of Sapermeina police station from near Kanglatongbi bridge at about 11.30 am today.
It is reported that the seized timbers belong to one Madan of Henbung.
The seized timbers were meant for delivery to one Okram Parijat of Thoubal Athokpam after off-loading at a saw mill located at Charangpat.
The two truck loads of timbers have been handed over to Kanglatongbi Forest beat office.
