Cleanliness drive

Imphal, November 19 2014:
The National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell of Manipur University today undertook a cleanliness drive at the university campus.
The drive which started from around 11.15 am was also joined by the MU Vice Chancellor, Professor HNK Sarma.
Programme co-ordinator of MU NSS Cell Dr Ch Ibohal stated that the drive was organised as part of the World Toilet Day and Swachh Bharat Mission.
Dr Ch Ibohal added that the MU NSS Cell of around 50 members and university students would organise a similar drive from MU campus till Wahengbam Leikai to endorse the State Government's cleanliness drive ahead of the much awaited Sangai Festival.
