Cataract detection camp

Imphal, August 28 2016:
National Programme for Control of Blindness
(NPCB), Thoubal in association with Educa-
tional Guide Centre, Moijing, conducted a
one-day free cataract detection camp at Moijing
community hall today, our correspondent re-
ports.
The camp was organised as a part of
NPCB's blindness control activities under
National Rural Health Mission, Educational
Guide Centre president Md Kheiruddin Shah
Moijingmayum said.
Altogether, 39 out of the total 211 people
who were examined at the camp today were
diagnosed with cataract.
They will undergo
free correction surgery at JNIMS on August 30 .
