Imphal, August 28 2016:
Students' Union of Kangleipak (SUK) has said that the State Government must take action against the Principal and Warden of Residential Kids Care Centre, Langol Games Village on the death of a student.
In a statement, the students' body said that the Government must not remain silent on the issue.
A class-VI student of the school hailing from Toupokpi Ward No 2 in Bishnupur district died a day after the school authority left him at his house due to illness.
Strongly condemning the incident, SUK said that the student could have been saved had the school authority communicated with his parents on time.
