During a meeting with representatives of the JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO on November 21, the Chief Secretary has assured to fulfill the remaining demands of the JAC which were earlier agreed to by the State Government.
The Chief Secretary pledged to initiate all possible measures in his capacity to issue an order at the earliest to fulfil the demands of the JAC which are yet to be fulfilled.
A statement issued by the JAC quoted the Chief Secretary that rectification of pay anomaly has been completed.
An official order in this regard would be issued within this month if the State cabinet approve the same.
To extend the benefit of Die-In-Harness scheme, all the necessary documents concerning applications submitted by families of deceased State employees in different Departments would be forwarded to the Department of Personal within 15 days, informed the JAC quoting the Chief Secretary.
The JAC was also assured of implementing the ACP scheme for work-charge employees soon.
Nevertheless, the JAC cautioned that it would launch strike if the State Government fails to honour its commitments again.
