Imphal, June 30 2010:
All Tribal Students' Union Manipur (ATSUM) has demanded stepping down of Education Minister L Jayantakumar in connection with the controversy of declaration of interview results for Primary and Hindi teachers.
Supporting the demand for probing the matter by a House Committee made by DESAM, ATSUM said that the Minister must step down to ensure a fair probe.
Pressing the Government to come out with an official decision within one week, ATSUM warned that it would take up mass agitation if the matter is not resolved within one week.
