Imphal, June 20:
A weeklong prayer campaign to make all educational institutions of the State a free zone was kicked off today at Sacred Heart School, Yairipok.
The inaugural prayer session was participated by all the students of the school reading in classes KG to IX.
For tomorrow onwards, each class will skip two periods and pray to make educational institutions free zone on rotation every day.
During the prayer campaign being undertaken under the banner "Prayerful Appeal for Peaceful Academic Atmosphere", the students put placards which read as "Make Schools free zone", "We are god's children", "Don't make disturbances in schools", "We love schools" etc.
