Imphal, September 14 2016:
A sample of Coca Cola beverage given by the Food Safety Officer, Imphal West on August 30 was examined by Government Food Analyst Chabungbam Sanajaoba Meitei and it was found to be highly acidic.
The sample bearing code no and serial no 09/33 (dated 29/08/2016) was found to be containing Orthophosphoric Acid.
Moreover, according to the report of the Food Analyst, the sample had a date of manufacture which was tampered thereby violating the Regulation 2.2.1:3 of Food Safety and Standard Regulations, 2011 .
