Silk worm rearing thrive in Moreh

Moreh, November 25 2013:
Women in groups started rearing silk worms at Moreh in Chandel district.
Director of Sericulture Ginjamang Simte and Assistant Director, K Manihar have provided the silk worms to the women folk through social activist N Yaiskul Meitei.

A group of women of Moreh Ward No 7 said they started the joint venture after receiving some worms from the Sericulture department.
They also acknowledged the support from their spouse for their thriving venture.
