Imphal, March 24:
The Joint Action Committee against the killing of late Saikhom Basanta by army�s vehicle (Casper) has imposed indefinite bandh in Imphal East and West District with effect from 5 am tomorrow.
The bandh has been imposed as the Government has not given any response to the memorandum submitted in connection death of Saikhom Basanta Singh when an army vehicle ran over him at Tera Khamnam Bazar along National Highway 53 on March 19, said JAC convenor Ak Bikomsana Singh in a statement.
