The Mohon Ashram constructed within the LEWS Complex at Lei-Ingkhol, Chingmeirong by Binod Sethi of Thangal Bazar and his younger brother Manoj Sethi while he was still alive was inaugurated today.
The ashram named after their late father Mohonlal Sethi was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 6-7 lakhs.
Amrit Singh Pahwa cut the ribbon to inaugurate the ashram.
A grand feast was also organised at the occasion.
The construction of the ashram began in January, 2003 while Manoj Sethi was still alive and completed in April 30 of the same year.
But following the death of Manoj Sethi, the inauguration of the ashram has been delayed till today, said Binod Sethi while recalling the unfortunate incident in which by younger brother was killed.
