Guidelines for assessing Class X, XII students studied

Imphal, June 17 2021: The first meeting of the committee constituted to frame/develop guidelines for assessment of students of Class X and Class XII was convened today with Commissioner of Education (S) M Harekrishna who is the Chairman of the committee, in the chair.

A press release issued by the Director of Education (S) and Convenor of the Committee, said that the committee deliberated on all issues and problems associated with the matter during the meeting.

It was also unanimously agreed to constitute a sub-committee each for the HSLCE-2021 and HSE-2021 under the chairmanship of the Chairman, BOSEM and Chairman, COHSEM respectively, the release said.

The chairmen of the sub-committees were also empowered to co-op 2 additional educationalists/educational administrators of eminence in their respective sub-committees for wider consultation, it said.

Besides 'Terms of Reference' of the Committee, several associated issues which may crop up at latter stages were also discussed, the release continued.
