The All Naga Students' Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has urged all the hills and valley people for a united mass movement to demand removal of Armed Forces Special Power Act 1985 and other black laws from the region.
The Naga student body said that cutting across community lines all should rise jointly and unitedly against all black laws.
ANSAM also strongly condemned the way 17 Assam Rifles personnel had killed Th Manorama after alleged sexual molestation, torture and subsequent killing.
In a statement issued to the NNN by its vice-president Ngachonmi Chamroy the nude protest by Manipuri women at the gate of 17th Assam Rifles in the heart of Imphal have moved and touched sentiments of everybody.
The Naga student body said that the Government should hang its head in shame.
"Everyone both the security personnel and the general public should think that a dozen women and meira paibis who had dared to strip off their clothing while protesting against the security forces' atrocities are our sisters or mothers", said the ANSAM statement adding that "the sacrifice rendered by the women are priceless".
The ANSAM statement also said .that at the cost of their modesty the "brave" women and meira paibis had made history for all the people of the region.
The ANSAM statement blamed O Ibobi Singh led SPF Government for all the social unrest that are happening in the state.
