India setting up puppet Govt : RPF

Imphal, July 15 2017:
The proscribed RPF has accused the Government of India of perpetuating colonial rule in Manipur by establishing successive puppet Governments .
Since the alleged forced merger of Manipur into the Indian Union on October 15, 1949 which was soon reduced to the status of a Part C State in 1956 and then transformed into a peripheral State in 1972, the Government of India has been perpetuating an indirect colonial rule all the years and the situation is becoming graver these days, according to a statement issued by the outfit's publicity secretary Roben Khuman .
New Delhi's BJP Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked upon a long march.
The first step of this march is targeting education and culture to build a cultural nationalism, an Indian-centric nationalism .
At the same time, New Delhi has been sowing seeds of different hegemonic agenda to set up a neo-imperialist democracy in India .
In order to perpetuate their hegemonic rule, puppet Governments were set up out of a loyal comprador class who would implement their hegemonic policies and enforce repressive policies like a remote-controlled device, alleged the outfit .
There is nothing surprising when GoI appoints men and women loyal to different key posts of the puppet State Government .
There is no element of surprise when GoI appoints non-Manipuris as advisor to the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, High Court Chief Justice, Deputy Commissioners and University's Vce Chancellor .
People need not be surprised at such appointments because the seeds of puppet Government were sown when the Instrument of Merger was signed on September 21, 1949, the outfit asserted .
Likewise, there is no element of surprise when cliques of MLAs, bureaucrats, contractors and high ranking police officers swindle money and they are made to pay tributes to New Delhi .
It is such policies which laid the foundation of an Indian imperialist democracy and these policies are now posing formidable hurdles to the liberation movement .
For people have given their mandate willingly or unwillingly, BJP is becoming quite hegemonic in mainland India.
At the same time, Narendra Modi is becoming quite popular in India because he has succeeded in kindling a hope of Indian imperialist democracy among the Indian people, added RPF .
In another word, BJP and Modi have succeeded in creating a neo-Indian popular common sense not only in mainland India but also in WESEA .
Unlike previous Indian Governments, BJP has been striving to create a situation where it can exercise excessive power.
Apart from wielding powers guaranteed by the country's law, BJP has been working hand in hand with the country's executive power.
Their main strategy is to take control of all State institutions .
Starting from education and culture, BJP has set their eyes on all key sectors including defence.
They have been working to enable their loyal agents infiltrate into all these key sectors so as to carry forward their agenda and policies, the outfit continued .
They have also been either misinterpreting or manipulating the country's laws in favour of their own agenda.
This was testified when BJP set up their own puppet Governments in Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand after toppling the existing Governments.
The same cases were re-enacted in Manipur and Goa too .
The inability of the State Government to take control of its land and resources is a clear testimony that the Government of India has been perpetuating colonial rule in Manipur through a puppet Government .
The State Government was kept as a mute spectator when fossil fuels were explored in Tipaimukh and Vangai Range of Churachandpur district and at different places of Imphal West recently .
The policy followed in Manipur is nothing but exploitation of land and resources through puppet Governments, the outfit alleged .
Black laws, genocide and inter-ethnic conflicts imposed and fuelled by India are other testimonies of colonial rule .
Attempts to distort the State's boundary through its divisive policies and Government of India's refusal to acknowledge Manipuri people's right to self determination also testify colonial rule .
Deliberate policy to export and settle its surplus population in Manipur, destruction of all economic bases including cottage industries and agricultural productivity, and transformation of the whole State into a captive market are some other examples of the colonial rule perpetuated by the Government of India in Manipur through its puppet Governments, RPF alleged .
Pointing out that it is the bounden duty of any Nation to protect their birth place from imperialist forces at any cost, the outfit called upon all the people of Manipur to join and support the liberation movement .
If Manipur should exist under the alleged colonial rule of India, the whole Manipuri Nation would be wiped out from the surface of Earth, it warned.
