SPF on Lokpal Bill

The UPA Government and the SPF Government have no difference (of opinion) with regard to the Lokpal Bill.
The State Cabinet deliberated on Lokpal Bill today following an intimation sent by the Union Government seeking the Government's views on the Bill and its proposed modification.
Speaking to media persons after the Cabinet meeting which was presided by the Chief Minister, SPF spokesperson N Biren conveyed that the Cabinet agreed on endorsing the line of action adopted by the UPA Government with regard to the Lokpal Bill.
The Cabinet also gave consent to acquiring 4.62 acres of land at Luwangshangbam which was earlier used as FCS godown for setting up Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition.
The proposed institute would have 320 seats including 120 seats for threeyear degree course in Bachelor in Hospitality.
The Cabinet meeting also agreed on giving suitable Government job to the wife of late Wangoi AI in-charge W Sanatomba, Biren informed.
