UNC on Tripartite talks

A day after the inconclusive third tripartite talks the UNC today came out with an appreciation note saying that the council is looking forward to the centre's assurance to the Nagas/Tribals in Manipur.
In a press note the UNC said, "An unilateral intervention of the GoI is necessary to manage the political stalemate before it goes out of our hands".
Appreciating the MHA, for convening the Tripartite Talks, the UNC said it is optimistic the GoI will evolve an Alternative Arrangement.
"The UNC is looking forward to the GoIs assurance given to the Nagas/tribals in Manipur", it said, adding that the talks were held as per letter No.8/8/2008-NE, Ministry of Home Affairs (NE-Division) dated New Delhi the 23rd June 2011, addressed to the President UNC on the Tripartite Talks.
