With the framing of charge sheet by Porompat police against Irom Chanu Sharmila under Section 309 IPC (attempting to commit suicide), the hearing of the case will be held at Sessions Court, Manipur East on November 21 .
Sharmila was today produced before the Court as a routine appearance, which normally comes after every two weeks.
Talking to reporters during a brief interaction at Lamphelpat Court complex, Sharmila reiterated that her movement would continue until AFSPA is repealed.

Saying that even school going children use mobile phones these days, Sharmila opined that many of the reported unwanted incidents are the negative impact of wrongful use of modern gadgets.
Children must be allowed to use these advanced technology gadgets only after they are thoroughly sensitised, she added.
It is unfortunate that political leaders have done nothing to check such menace, Sharmila said and alleged that politicians see nothing but their vote banks.
She opined that the Government must promote and emphasise moral education to students and youth in their studies.
The present situation demands that political leaders should realise that a change is needed, Sharmila said and added that they must also bring an end to lawlessness.
Maintaining that those who are at the helm of the State administration are unable to think for the welfare of the general public as they are not true leaders, Sharmila said that they earned their present position through money and muscle powers.
