19th Winners' Cup : FC Zalen Sadar Hills, YPhU Lalambung set for title clash

FC Zalen, Sadar Hills and Young Physiques' Union (YPhU), Imphal West are set the clash for the title of the ongoing 19th Winners' Cup (Men's) 2014 Football Tournament organised by All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) .
The two teams will play the last two legs, home and away matches, on Nov 16 and 17 .
In the second leg match of the semifinal today, YPhU Lalambung defeated LMFA Heirok by a margin of four goals to nil at YPhU's home ground at Artificial Turf ground, Khuman Lampak.
It may be mentioned that YPhU and LMFA were locked in a 1-1 draw in the first leg match of the semifinal.

YPhU and LMFA match today witnessed an impressive beginning.
Both sides failed to open their account until the 40th minute when the YPhU players changed their attacking tactics which resulted in a brilliant score by H Naobi.
The second goal for the home side was netted by L Abung in the 64th minute.
Buoyed by the two goals lead, the home side went on an attacking spree.
K Suraj scored another goal in the 66th minute.
A second goal by L Abung yielded the YPhU a handsome victory over LMFA by a margin of 4-0 .
In another second leg match of the semifinal today, FC Zalen held XI Star SU to a 1-1 draw at FC Zalen's home turf at Thomas ground, Kangpokpi.
The first leg match of the semifinal was won by FC Zalen by a margin of two goals to nil.
Today's match saw a stiff fight between FC Zalen and XI Star SU from the beginning.
Both sides prevented each other from scoring a goal in the first half of the match.
Seikhohao Tuboi of the home team drew the first blood when he scored a goal in the 50th minute.
However, the equaliser came in the 67th minute from XI Star SU side when A Hemanta scored a brilliant goal.
