Kohima, July 18 (PTI):
A delegation of premier Naga organizations would shortly visit New Delhi to apprise the central leaders of the needs for continuation of Naga peace process and extension of ceasefire to Naga inhabited areas, the Naga Hoho said today.
Over 15 organizations from Manipur and Nagaland at a meeting decided to send the delegation to New Delhi in support of the ceasefire enlargement plan, president of Naga Hoho, apex council of Nagas, M Vero told PTI here.
The organizations in yesterday�s meeting urged the Centre not to go back on June 14 Bangkok declaration and appealed to those north eastern states which have been opposing extension of Naga ceasefire to understand the situation.
The consultative meeting, held under the aegis of Naga Hoho expressed serious concern over the unfortunate situation arising out of strong opposition to ceasefire extension by neighboring states, particularly Manipur.
