A public information released by Churachandpur District Students' Union today claimed that it has not till date entrusted anyone to collect any form of money from Imphal.
The CDSU release said that it has heard from reliable sources that someone is collecting money in its name at Imphal area.
'We neither entrust anyone to do nor have any plan of collecting money in Imphal so far,' it said, in addition to appealing all not to oblige to such imposters unless entrusted by the President or finance secretary themselves.
'The union will be grateful if anyone caught such imposter or give information of them' it added.
Meanwhile, the Zomi Mothers Association Hqtrs today acknowledged contributions it has receive from Lamka to Aizawl Motor Owners Association in accumulating funds for managing its sole home for HIV/AIDS orphans.
Only Grace, the only known home for HIV/AIDS orphans in the entire district/state was initiated and administered by ZMA hqtrs and has no stable sponsors till date.
To sustain the needs of ten of its inmates the association has been engaged in every possible forms it can, including to that extend of organizing charity dinner and concert.
However, after the motor owners have decided to step in, a donation box for the home has been mounted at a location the transporters usually pray for their safe journey � the Moriah Prayer Mountain.
A month down the line with this novel design, the home has been receiving a handsome return and ZMA has acknowledged the venture in a distinctive way by giving the transporters a chance to have a first hand account and interact with the orphan kids at their home.
