In a matchless TV show for the state, the first ever hunt for a child artiste took off today at the Studio of Hornbill Cable Network here Live and exclusive.
One hundred and twenty children in the age group of 7 to 12 years will vie for the 'Little Star' award.
As the Live footage of the visibly excited kids thronging the studio in the company of their parents was broadcast, another set of children keenly glued to the television set.

In today's audition, wherein the kids presented their talent sans music, none were eliminated from the competition.
With music to adorn their talent they will, from February 16 venture on ten elimination rounds.
Initially, 50 will be selected from the 120 contenders.
There upon the number will be trimmed to 20, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 � during the Grand Finale.
Even as the VJs announced that each audition round will witness children from different orphanage homes and any proceed thereof will go to the orphans the enthusiastic kids struck an exclusive pose for The Sangai Express chanting 'le', holding their hands high.
