Training on mushroom cultivation held

Imphal, April 11 2022: A training programme on cultivation of mushroom and vermicompost was organised by Rama Foundation (RAMAF), Nagamapal RIMS Road on April 9 and 10 at Laimanai.

In a release, RAMAF informed that trainees from 6 districts of Manipur and Bihar took part in the training which was held with regional achiever awardee Soram Rajendra as a resource person.

He delivered a talk on scientific methods of mush -room cultivation, diseases, poisonous mushrooms, marketing and financial assistance, etc, and introduced low cost vermi-composting and eel farming from mushroom waste.

As a part of the training programme, free mushroom spawns and certificates were also distributed to the participants.
