The occupation of the Nongpok Ningthou Nongpok Panthoibi site by the AR since 2005 had inconvenienced many devotees while performing religious rites at the site till last year.
As the AR has shifted from the place now, huge turnout of devotees during the Lai Haraoba is anticipated, the VA secretary said.
Refuting recent report that farmers of Kwatha village were harassed by AR personnel, Nando clarified that the report was baseless.
He appealed all concerned not to cook up anything that can cause misunderstanding between Kwatha villagers and the AR.
