A joint meeting of seven clubs and meira paibis organized by Nongmeibung Thumkhong Lairembi Youth Club resolved to protect the territorial integrity of Manipur and observed a two minute silence to those who sacrificed their lives for the State.
Meiteis, Tangkhuls, Kukis and Muslims took part in it.
Maisnam Nongthomba Leikai Development Club, Meino Leirak, Service and Education for Welfare Action, Soibam Leikai and Kwakeithel Nganapikhong Mapal Social Welfare Club also condoled the death of the martyrs and observed two minute silence.
They also pledged support to the movement for protection of territorial integrity of Manipur.
Maisnam Nongthomba Leikai Development Club announced an indefinite Dry Day and warned against using intoxicants.
United Clubs Organization, Imphal and its associate member clubs/bodies pledged support to UCM and demanded lifting of the indefinite curfew.
Muslims of Paobitek held a meeting at Paopitek Youth Club Development Organizations office and observed a two minute silence in honor of the martyrs and demanded release of AMSU leaders.
Maharaja-In-Council Manipur criticized the Government attempt to crush the movement.
He paid tribute to the martyrs.
Meanwhile Manipurgi Ngamkhei Kariba Lup, NH-53 launched a mass awareness campaign since June 6 at areas including Konthoujam Maning Kabui, Hidaksungba Kabui and Sabaltongba Kabui and resolved to protect integrity.
Residents of these villages assured that they will never leave their homes.
About 10,000 people including meira paibis of the area took out a rally on June 6 night and staged a dharna yesterday.

Meanwhile Hands for Peaceful Society, Society for Peace, Educational, Eternal and Development and Medicine Sales Representative Association of Manipur jointly opened Emergency Medical Assistance cell at the office of SPEED office.
It in association with RIMS Help Line donated medicines free of cost and will be donating at the JN Hospital Emergency Medical Assistance.
Mongkhang Lambi Modern Club collected and donated Rs 1500 to the family of Ksh Romio of Singjamei who sacrificed his life for the State.
The club said Speaker Dr S Dhananjoy will be socially boycotted if he fails to have the Centre withdraw its truce decision.
It also demanded release of AMSU leaders.
Heikrujam Yaipha Club also donated Rs 655 to AMUCO.
Keishamthong Constituency Citizens Development Organizations in a meeting yesterday observed a two minute silence to condole Tamphasana who sacrificed her life for the State.
