Cyclist Rohan continues to 'feed the hungry'

Imphal, June 17 2021:
Cyclist, social activist and founder of 'Cycling for Humanity' Rohan Philem has been continuing his campaign 'Feeding the hungry' by providing foods to 55-60 hungry homeless and disabled people daily on the streets and rehabilitating them.
The initiative of feeding the hungry began when the pandemic hit its peak and lockdown began in March 2020.Rohan and his team of 15 cyclist volunteers helped around 150 families affected by Covid-19 including widows, migrant workers and daily wage earners.
The campaign is still continuing and ration is being supplied to 70 widows and more than 10 rickshaw pullers along with arranging 20-25 meals (lunch/dinner) at 4 different Covid Care Centres every day.
And not just humans, the campaigners are also providing food to almost 200 monkeys every day to prevent their deaths from starvation in Manipur.
