Mass Covid vaccination held

Kakching, June 21 2021:
District Health Society Kakching in association with the Covid Task Force of Kakching Ward No 9 & 10 and under the supervision of Kakching AC MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar organised a Mass Covid Vaccination programme at Kakching Mayai Leikai, Multipurpose Community Hall, today.
During the vaccination drive led by District Family Welfare Officer, Dr Kesho Singh Moirangthem and Community Health Centre Kakching MO in charge, Dr Kshetrimayum Sumati, a total of 626 beneficiaries above the age of 18 years were vaccinated today.
Speaking on the occasion, M Rameshwar stated that the vaccination programme was organised as a part of the mass vaccination drive initiated under the able leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Singh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to combat the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic by vaccinating all the citizens of India.
The MLA mentioned that the State Government aims to vaccinate all the people above the age of 18 years for Kakching AC by July.
He stated that a similar vaccination programme would be held tomorrow at Kakching Wairi Kongoi Community Hall and at Irengband on June 24 .
M Rameshwar further extended his appreciation to DFWO/District Surveillance Officer Kakching, Dr Kesho; CHC Kakching MO in charge, Dr Sumati & staff; Kakching Police Station OC, Premjit; CDO OC, Abas Khan; Kakching PS 2nd OC, Martin and the volunteers of Covid Task Force for their efforts in conducting the mass vaccination successfully.
