JNMDA observes Yoga, Music day

Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA), Imphal observed International Yoga Day at its auditorium on Monday morning.
A press release informed that the programme was organised under the instructions of PM Narendra Modi and the Ministry of Culture.
Y Nando Luwang, instructor (Yoga) conducted a yoga class for 45 minutes which was attended by JNMDA former vice-chairman Prof H Tombi, director P Bilash Singh and artistes of JNMDA Production Unit.
A Manipuri solo dance 'Neela Kamala' and 'Krishna gi Waja-rabi Yasoda' was also presented by Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee dancer and choreographer N Amusana Devi.
JNMDA also observed International Music Day on Monday.
The observance was carried out under the guidance of JNMDA director P Bilash Singh and attended by former vice-chairman Prof N Tombi along with artistes of JNMDA Production Unit, Gurus and students of the academy.
A music composition on the theme of 'Chatkhro Corona' composed by JNMDA Production Unit musician Kh Rameshkumar was also produced during the observance, the release stated.
