To raise fund for the victims of killer tsunami which erupted on December 26, 'Images 2005', a fashion parade with a cause was held at GM Hall today.
MANITRON chairman Bijoy Koijam (MLA) attended the event organised under the aegis of Fashion and Modelling Agency as the chief guest.
At the outset of the charity fashion show, horrifying video images of the disaster which killed numerous people living in Andaman and Nicobar Islands as well as those settled along the coastal region of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh were shown, followed by a candle light parade to mourn death of precious lives.
Eleven female and six male models walked down the ramp displaying outfit - formal, traditional and casuals - all intricately designed by Pravabati Takhellambam, a diploma holder on Costume Designing from Government Polytechnic, Coimbatore.
