Moreh, February 08 2010:
The border Trade and Chamber of Commerce, Moreh has warned the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) of surrendering the telephone subscribers' connections.
President V Shekhar and Secretary Surinder Singh Patheja in a memorandum submitted to the General Manager of BSNL expressed serious displeasure over the irregular network services at Moreh.
The memorandum pointed out that telephone service in Moreh areas� land line, WLL and mobiles are of very poor condition.
Not a single day has passed during the last three months with 24 hour telephone service.
Communication lines regularly do not work during business hours when they are required the most.
Network is released in the evening time after 5 pm and again the network is disconnected next morning.
Therefore, the Chamber drew the attention of the General Manager to look into the matter urgently, or else Moreh subscribers will have no alternative but to surrender their connections, the memorandum asserted.
