Inclusion of four candidates newly in the selection list of State nominees for pursuing MBBS/BDS course after detection of errors in the question papers of the entrance test was done after considering the matter by the Government seriously, Health Commission AR Khan said today.
Talking to media persons at his office chamber today, Khan said that recommendation for inclusion of the four candidates was made by the Selection Committee on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates after the errors were corrected, and accordingly four other candidates who have been selected earlier were dropped from the list.
State Government had given the permission to the Selection Committee for re-valuation of the question papers concerned following complaint filed by three students against errors in certain keys in Chemistry and Zoology papers, the Health Commissioner informed and added that question setter themselves have admitted to the errors and given their written statement in this regard.
On other new development taking place in his department, the Health Commissioner disclosed that the Nursing School and the hostel presented located at RIMS Hospital; Lamphel would be shifted within the complex of the Medical Department soon.
