Air purifiers donated to Shija Hospitals

With the aim of contributing his mite towards the essential requirement of medical oxygen and clean air especially in treating Covid-19, wing commander (retired) N Rajnikanta Singh of Kwakeithel, Imphal West district donated four air purifiers to Shija Hospitals and Research Institute (SHRI) on Tuesday.
According to SHRI release issued by its business development manager L Premjit Singh, the air purifiers were handed over to SHRI chairman cum managing director, Dr Palin Khundongbam at his office.
While welcoming the gesture and appreciating the effort, the release said that the air purifiers donated by Rajnikanta would serve and heal patients from their complications mainly of respiratory diseases including Covid-19.With Covid-19 pandemic still prevalent in the state and SHRI fighting the battle, the air purifier donated by the retired Air Force officer will help address the concerns about possible aerosol transmission and Covid-19 associated respiratory complications, the release added.
