Relief items distributed in C-zones, orphanages

Imphal, June 29 2021:
BJP Manipur Pradesh state council member Kh Ibomcha distributed relief items to people residing in containment zone areas on Tuesday.
He provided the items to three households of Laikot Kharam that have been notified as containment zone and to 18 people staying in the quarantine centre set up at Nongpok Heirok community hall and Anganwadi centre.
Meanwhile, the state government represented by Nambol SDC Oinam Boynao and Nambol AC MLA Loken handed over essential items required in combating Covid-19 to caretaker of Community Home Isolation Centre set up at SK Women's College O Premjit and assistant caretaker Th Lamjingba Singh for further distribution to the seven Covid-19 Task Forces and 34 clubs in the constituency.
On the other hand, Bangalore Manipur Students' Association provided essential items to Yaibilen Children Home and an orphanage located at Keibi Khullen for the first phase.
The association assured of extending more relief items to children homes and old age homes in the future.
Social worker Mayanglambam Binod also provided edibles to 21 households of Kakching Khunou that have been notified as containment zone while former Chandel MLA BD Behring handed over edible items to NPF Chandel Divisional Unit Covid-19 monitoring cell for further distribution to households in Chakpikarong area that have been declared as virus zones after family member(s) were infected by Covid-19.Meanwhile, Imphal East ZP member Kongbam Inaocha Devi provided edibles and medicines to CHIC set up at Ngariyan Ching for Andro A/C .
