Enrolment drive underway

Imphal, February 17 2015:
Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Manipur State Unit is undertaking enrolment drive for its primary and active members in various parts of the state.
According to a press release of LJP, around 15000 primary members and 2000 active members have been enrolled so far during the enrolment drive which began from January 1 this year.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan was elected the National President of LJP on Monday.
Paswan's candidature was proposed and seconded by MLA of Langthabal A/C Karam Shyam and President of LJP Manipur State Unit Thang Khan Gin Ngaihte respectively.
The party would work to streamline the Public Distribution System (PDS) and other centrally sponsored schemes in the state, the release added.
