Pre-recruitment training underway

Imphal, July 10 2022:
Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (South) has commenced pre-recruitment training for young aspirants willing to join the Indian armed forces at Sawombung (Chingarel) in Imphal East district on Saturday.
Informing that aim of the training is to create awareness among the youth about recruitment procedures in armed forces and to guide candidates about documents required, exam preparation and physical training, PRO IGAR (S) said in a release that a total of 18 candidates joined the training on the first day and the strength is expected to increase more in coming days.
On the other-hand, Thoubal COB of 16 AR has been conducting pre-recruitment training for the youth of Thoubal area since May 3 to aid the youngsters join the uniform services in Army, Assam Rifles, CAPF and others.
The objective of conducting the training programme is to guide and prepare potential candidates to clear various test conducted during the recruitment rally.
The training includes screening/checking of documents, medical examination, written test, etc.
Altogether, 372 youths, including 84 girls, have been registered till date and taking part in the pre-training programme.
