AYUSH medicines, edibles distributed

Various organisations continued to extend help to the public affected by Covid-19 pandemic and distributed AYUSH medicines and edibles to them.
On Thursday, Youth's Foundation for Fitness and Service (YOFFS) Manipur and AMUCO distributed medicines provided by AYUSH Department such as AYUSH 64 tablets and Arsenicum Album 30 to 1500 people along with creating awareness on Covid-19 at various areas.
In a release, YOFFS informed that the medicines were handed over to Phubala Ward No.4 member Khoirom Apabi, Phubala Awang Hut Dhoiller Committee and to Sunushiphai Ward No 6 member Wareppam Hemabati for distribution amongst people of Ward No.5 and 6.Similarly, Committee on Covid-19, Manipur; a unified body of CADA, UPF, NIPCO, AMSU, UPACO and MAPI Council, in collaboration with Directorate of AYUSH distributed AYUSH 64 tablets, face masks, and hand sanitizers to Covid Care Centres (CCCs), Community Home Isolation Centres (CHICs), local Covid Task Force and local club/meira paibi organisations in different parts of the state on Thursday.
In a release, Committee media coordinator Geetchandra Mangang conveyed that the aid was distributed to Khurai Angom Leikai Covid Task Force; NSU Hall Khuman Lampak CCC and Lamlongei Youth Progressive Ordain Club in Imphal East district and to Task Force Anti Covid-19 Khangabok in Thoubal district along with Aimol Kodamphai village, Tengnoupal district.
In Bishnupur district, the aid was provided to CHICs set up at New Model Public School Kumbi; Kumbi Awang High School, Kumbi Ward No 6; Ningthoukhong Higher Secondary School and to Covid-19 Task Forces of Wangoo Terakhong GP; Wangoo Welfare Club, Wangoo Parking and to SSWC Sandangkhong Awang Leikai.
Meanwhile, Ekta Parishad Manipur (EPM) along with its partner organisations led by its convener Aribam Rishi-kanta Sharma, Steering Committee member Ningthoujam Bidyarani (Bala) Devi and EPM Imphal West District in-charge Sinam'Taniya Chanu distributed edibles to 500 poor families in Tairenpok pi, Leirenkabi, Lamlongei, Koutruk, Khurkhul, Kanto Achouba, Keingam, Sekmai, Shantipur (Awang Leikinthabi) and Phayeng of Imphal West district on Thursday.
On the other hand, Dynamic Manipur informed that it has provided edibles to Mongshangei Old Age Home, impoverished families and children home of Lei-ingkhol, Kumbi Senior Citizen Home and Good Shepherd Home, Churachandpur till date since July 11.KAKCHING: Social worker Akoijam Gandhi of Lamjao Awang Leikai distributed edible items to around 200 families of Lamjao Awang Leikai and Lamjao Mayai Leikai falling under Mayeng Lamjao Gram Panchayet Ward No..1The distributed items include rice', potato, onion, cooking oil, cabbage and others.
According to Gandhi, the edible items were distributed from his side to ease problems being faced by the people due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its related restrictions.
