One Myanmar-returnee IMT worker found Covid positive

Moreh, August 05 2021:
In all, 42 workers engaged in India-Myanmar-Thailand (IMT) High-Way Road project returned from Myanrnar and reached Moreh on Thursday.
The workers were taken to the Moreh sub-district hospital located in Integrated Check Post complex for conducting Covid-19 test during which one of the workers was found positive for Covid-19 .
After the tests, their identities and documents were also verified at the ICP.
The positive patient has been taken to the Covid war room set up in the sub district hospital for treatment, while the other workers have left Moreh.
One Bejipal Singh, who returned from Myanmar and worked in IMT Myanmar express company, said that many people have been infected by Covid-19 in Myanmar and the pandemic situation there is very serious.
