NPF Manipur unit hails people of Nagaland

The Naga People's Front (NPF), Manipur State unit has lauded the people of Nagaland for going with the NPF in the just concluded elections.
NPF, Manipur State unit secretary Athuan Abonmai said the securing of 38 seats in the 60-member house of the Nagaland assembly by the NPF is a feat and added that the party's sincere effort towards solving the Naga political problem has been revealed when the results to the Nagaland assembly polls on Thursday.
"It has also been possible because the people are mature and that they understood very well about the NPF headed by Neiphiu Rio," added Athuan Abonmai.
"The mandate of the 12th Nagaland legislative assembly shows that the Naga public strongly desire for the early Naga solution," the NPF secretary further stated, adding, " With this impressive results of the Nagaland assembly poll the Naga people have expressed their desire to have meaningful, honourable, acceptable and workable solution to the vexed Naga political problem" .
Pooh-poohing the star campaigners of the Congress party in Nagaland, Athuan Abonmai said Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi had failed to divert the Nagas' mind from voting for the NPF.
"The Naga people are fed up now the Delhi based culture of the Indian National Congress and the door has been shown to them this time," Athuan Abonmai also said.
Meanwhile, Athuan Abonmai expressed that the unquestionable charishma of Neiphiu Rio and the far-sighted NPF chief Dr.Shurhozelie have also been the factor for the party's sky-rocketing.
The Manipur unit of NPF then congratulated all the newly elected NPF MLAs and wishes them for the best.
