NIT flagged off

Imphal, November 10 2018:
A National Integration Tour (NIT) organised by Aina Battalion under the aegis of Churachandpur Sector Assam Rifles was flagged off from Churachandpur on Nov 7 by the Commander Churachandpur Sector.
The tour team comprises of 10 students and two teachers of Convention English High School, Sinjol and Government Junior High School, Kangkap from Pherzawl and Churachandpur districts.
The tour under the aegis of Red Shield Division will cover important historical places in the city of Taj, Agra and National Capital, New Delhi which will give a wide exposure to the children about the cultural heritage and developments happening across the country.
The tour also endeavours to organize interaction of the children with various dignitaries at National Capital which will encourage them to put in their maximum in serving the Nation by excelling in their field of interests.
The tour will also provide them an opportunity to know the rich cultural diversity.
The tour will emphasize on educating the children about people, language, architecture and rich history of India, said a statement of PE3 (Defence Wing) .
