Court appointed Administrator meets Prof Yugindro to end the crisis at Manipur University

Administrator of the Manipur University which was appointed by an order of the Manipur High Court while trying to find a lasting solution to the ongoing crisis at Manipur University today summoned Prof.Yugindro at his official quarter located at2nd MR Complex today afternoon.
Details of the conversation that took place between Prof.Yugindro and administrator of the Manipur University Jarnail Singh could not be known at the moment but source close to this newspaper said that the administrator appointed as per an order of the Manipur high Court as interim arrangement tried to convince about the pros and cons of the present situation if he did not withdrawn the compliant lodge against faculties and students of the Manipur University.
Reply from the part of the Prof.Yugindro was reported positive but the source expressed sceptical to the way that Prof.Yugindro response to the administrator.
Matter relating the Special Leave Petition filed by him at the Supreme Court to the Manipur High Court verdict which appointed an Administrator on interim basis to end the 135 days old impasse was not at all brought up during the course of interaction, the source added.
The meeting reportedly took place for around half and hour.
Source close to the Imphal Times said that Administrator of the Jarmail Singh, who have excellent report in public administration and also crisis management is likely to take up severe measures if Yugindro failed to change his mind.
The source said that the Administrator take serious note of what the Secretary to the governor of Manipur had written to Prof.Yugindro over his high handedness to the governor, who happen to be the Rector of the Manipur University.
Interestingly the Pro VC too showed no respect to the Chief Minister of Manipur and even stated defamatory statement which could maligned the image of the chief Minister who was recently announced as the 3 best chief Minister of the country while announcing as the best Chief Minister of BJP ruled states by a survey conducted by India Today.
