Imphal, February 04 2015:
Taking strong exception to the vision document released by BJP for Delhi election wherein people of Northeastern States were called as 'immigrants', Communist Party of India (CPI) Manipur State Council staged a sit-in-protest at BT Road on Wednesday.
CPI Manipur State Council president N Mangi said that there had been incidents of desecrating Churches and triggering communal clashes under BJP regime at the Centre.
People should be well aware of the hidden agendas of the party, he warned.
Demanding apology from the party for calling people of Northeastern States as 'immigrants', N Mangi said that CPI would launch an intense agitation throughout the country if the BJP fails to tender an apology at the earliest.
CPI Manipur State Council Secretary of Sotinkumar was also present during the protest demonstration.
