New traffic regulations

As a large number of people are expected to visit Khwairamband bazar on October 23 for Diwali, traffic regulations will be taken up to ensure smooth flow.
The SP of Imphal West, AK Jhalajit in a press release has stated that certain steps will be taken up to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
In a statement, the SP said that no vehicles including jeep, car, two wheelers, auto rickshaws, bullock carts, push carts and cycles will be allowed to enter Khwairamband bazar and Paona bazar from 3 pm, no parking shall be allowed on BT road, only to fro passage will be allowed.
Moreover no vehicles will be allowed to enter from the northern side of Paona bazar upto the road crossing at Keishampat Electricity office, southern side of Thangal bazar upto Khoyathong, Hao Keithel through BT road, MG Avenue entry point, Dukanthong (near SSS Hotel), Kasturi bridge towards Thangal bazar and from Masjid road (Maharani bridge) .
Further, the SP has specified parking areas for tomorrow.
According to the SP, all vehicles including jeeps, cars, two wheelers, auto-rickshaws may be parked on the road beyond Keishampat power house, north AOC (near Sulabh area), on DM road Thangmeiband, old Krishnadas oil pump, Keishampat on Tiddim road, roadside at Uripok beyond flyover and Nagamapal road (eastern flank) .
