BJP leaders visit Manipur only for tour: JD(U)

Janata Dal (United), Manipur State Unit President M Tombi on Monday alleged that BJP leaders in the Centre visiting Manipur as part of regular tour instead of focusing on developmental projects.
In a press meet held at JD(U) office, Babupara, M Tombi also said that the party welcomed Government of India interlocutor for Naga peace talks RN Ravi who will reach Imphal on Tuesday.
"It is a surprise fact that RN Ravi is coming back to meet people and various civil society organisations of the State after he already met civil society organisations during his first visit" .
M Tombi further blamed the Indian Government for concealing the contents of the Naga Peace Accord which has been signed under the framework of the Indian Constitution and demanded that RN Ravi, during the visit, should disclose the State Government and its people the contents of the accord.
RN Ravi should also respond to the JD(U)'s memorandum submitted during his first visit.
