State's cyclist Rohan accorded warm welcome

Bishnupur, November 21 2018:
After the State's cyclist Philem Rohan was flagged off from Maria Montessori Senior Secondary School Koirengei, who reached Imphal by peddling from Sharda university carrying the message "Save Sangai & Humanity", Moirang Assembly Youth Congress Committee welcomed him at Moirang Lamkhai yesterday.
Later, a reception ceremony was held at the residence of Moirang constituency ex-MLA M Prithivirai in which Moirang Municipal Council Councillor M Bma, Councillor K Memthoi attended.
The ex-MLA presented Rs 10,000, memento and a shawl to appreciate Philem Rohan for his creative venture to raise awareness about Sangai, the State animal.
Speaking at the function, Prithiviraj conveyed that the initiative Philem Rohan has inspired many youths of the State.
Four other fellow cyclists who came along with Rohan were also welcomed with gifts.
